Amazon’s best-selling coat added four new metallic colors to its line last year, and right now, they’re all on sale.
The Orolay Women’s Thickened Down Jacket, also known as the viral ‘Amazon coat,’ has gained popularity over the past few years, starting in the streets of Manhattan and quickly gaining fame across the U.S.
It’s no secret as to why people love it: It’s warm, stylish, affordable and in its shinier colors, it’s even more glam.

One plus to the metallic version of the ‘Amazon coat’ is that it costs $10 less that the original -- the shiny version retails for $139.99, as opposed to $149.99 for the matte colors.

The newer, metallic version has the same windproof and waterproof exterior with six pockets, side zippers and a big hood. However, it comes with a few upgraded features, the most obvious being its outer shiny material, which comes in army green, dark gray, wine and jet black. It looks great paired with any athleisure attire, leather leggings or a sweater with jeans and snow boots.
Beyond the outer fabric, it also has elasticized cuffs with thumbholes for keeping your hands warmer, but it removes the ribbon pulls from the zippers and the soft sherpa-lining in the hood that are both found in the original.
“I love the fitted sleeve extension that comes down on the inside of the coat,” one Amazon reviewer wrote. “It is super warm and comfy, and all the pockets are amazing!”

Nonetheless, if you prefer an even cozier look, Orolay also launched a fleece-covered teddy version of the famous ‘Amazon coat’ this year, but you’ll have to pay full price for the style.
