Exclusive: Amanda Holden recalls dominatrix scene gone wrong
Amanda Holden has teamed up with historian Dan Jones as they uncover some sex secrets from history.
Sex: A Bonkers History sees the presenting duo take a closer look at the sexual behaviours of past civilisations, from ancient times to the 20th century.
However, working on the show wasn’t always easy as Holden and Jones recall a painful encounter with a dominatrix.

Speaking exclusively with Digital Spy, the duo reflected on some of the awkward experiences they had to endure for the show.
"Poor Dan was the one that had to do it all," the Britain's Got Talent judge remarked. "I was sort of doing the nice bits."
"I truly got the brunt of it when I turned up to surprise Amanda by being the subject of a dominatrix session," Jones revealed. "I was like 'Ha, ha, ha it’s going to be so fun' and then actually the dominatrix really gave me a few whacks."
Holden laughed: "He limped into the school run that afternoon".

"So, that was a weird day when I went home and the family were like 'How was work today?'," Jones confessed. "I said 'Well, I went to see a dominatrix with Amanda Holden. I got smacked'.
"Just a normal day at the office actually," he joked. "So, weird stuff all in the name of historical research."

Despite Jones having a torturous experience with the dominatrix, the presenting pair agreed that for the most part filming the new Sky History show was a fun-filled experience.
"The whole thing, to be honest, was a lot of fun," Holden enthused, highlighting how much she enjoyed dressing up as various famous women from history. "I got to wear a lot of wigs!"
The five part series sees Holden and Jones delve into different eras of history covering the Ancients, the Tudors, the Georgians, the Victorians, and the 20th Century.
Sex: A Bonkers History premieres Monday, September 18 on Sky History.
