Yet another report about Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ personality has emerged, and it’s quite interesting to say the least.

Earlier this month, Rodgers was labeled a “complicated fella” by Packers CEO Mark Murphy. It seemed like a harsh remark at the time, but Murphy isn’t the only person who feels that way.

On Wednesday, NFL insider Matt Lombardo shared some insight on Rodgers from an ex-NFL general manager’s perspective. The general manager who spoke to Lombardo didn’t want their identity revealed, but they had no issue discussing why they believe Rodgers is difficult to deal with.

“The guy’s selfish,” a former NFL general manager told Lombardo, via FanSided. “Teammates don’t like him. Coaches don’t like him. It’s all about Aaron. They all deal with him, because he’s a superstar. He helps guys make money and put food on the table for their kids, and people respect him for that.”

Rodgers’ future in Green Bay has been up in the air for the past few months. The front office has tried to mend its relationship with the reigning MVP, but so far those attempts have been unsuccessful.

Former Packers wide receiver James Jones has said multiple times that Rodgers’ fractured relationship with the team is fixable. However, there’s no telling if the veteran quarterback will change his stance.

When talking about his tricky situation during an interview with Kenny Mayne on SportsCenter, Rodgers said “It’s just kind of about a philosophy and maybe forgetting that it is about the people that make the thing go. It’s about character, it’s about culture, it’s about doing things the right way.”

The Packers have just over a month to sort out this issue before training camp begins.
