If there's anything we've learned about Lily James, it's that she's got the range to portray almost any character. For instance, we've seen her transform into an archaeologist, a Disney princess, a secretary and, most recently, the iconic Baywatch star, Pamela Anderson. Not surprisingly, James's performance in Pam and Tommy earned her a well-deserved Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series, as well as her first Emmy nod for Outstanding Lead Actress.

1. Who is Lily James’s boyfriend?
James is currently in a relationship with Michael Shuman, a musician and songwriter who plays bass for the rock band Queens of the Stone Age. (Fun fact: Queens of the Stone Age have seven Grammy nominations to their name, including Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Album in 2014.)
Shuman is also currently a part of the band Mini Mansions, and he previously performed with Wires on Fire and Jubilee.
2. How did James and Shuman meet?
How the couple first crossed paths is unknown. But we do know that they were first spotted showing some PDA in England in February 2021. So, it's likely that they first crossed paths while James was working on her rom-com, What's Love Got to Do With It?

3. How long have they been dating?
It's been almost two years since James and Shuman first sparked romance rumors. And by the looks of their social media pages, they're still going strong.

4. Who else has James dated in the past?
Although the British actress has a history of not commenting on her romantic life, quite a few dating rumors have surfaced in the past.
For instance, James was spotted showing some PDA with fellow actor Dominic West in October, 2020, but neither publicly discussed their dating status or confirmed that they were together. And in the same year, the star was also rumored to be dating Chris Evans—thanks to multiple sightings of their romantic outings. Still, James never confirmed or denied that they were officially together.
The Downton Abbey actress was also in a relationship with Doctor Who's Matt Smith for five years before they called it quits in 2019. And in 2011, James briefly dated fellow actor Jack Fox.
