Wells Adams has morphed from a humble contestant on The Bachelorette to one of the show's most successful breakout stars, who now spends his summers pouring drinks for horny Bachelor Nation alums on the beach. In other words, this dude managed to pivot a failed televised "love journey" into a profitable bartending gig on Bachelor in Paradise! And we can't forget BiP is also how he met his now-wife Sarah Hyland, who thirsted for him during his inaugural season:

Basically, Bachelor in Paradise 🤝 Wells Adams, and if you're wondering how much money he's made along the way, same. Honestly, it's all very mysterious, but thanks to the power of sleuthing we know some details.

Breaking Down Wells' Bachelor in Paradise Salary

Wells joined Bachelor in Paradise as the show's bartender in season 4 and then had a super-sized role in season 7 thanks to being ~master of rose ceremonies~ as well as guest host of a few episodes. And he's honestly had a ton of screen time in season 8 so far.

His exact salary for all this hard work hasn't been officially revealed, but we do have some info at our disposal:

  • First off all, we know that Bachelor and Bachelorette leads make somewhere north of $100,000 per season, so ABC is willing to spend money. But considering leads aren't that famous before starting a season and Wells is very famous, it seems safe to assume his salary is well over this.

  • We also know former Bachelor in Paradise host Chris Harrison allegedly made $2.6 million per show. Of course, he was a full-time host (and had years of negotiations under his belt) whereas Wells is a bartender. Plus, now that Jesse Palmer is in the picture, going to assume most of ABC's money is going to him.

Our best guess for how much Wells makes? $500,000 to $1 million per season. I mean, ABC spent $2.6 million on Chris Harrison, and since chances are Jesse Palmer isn't making this much (he's too new!), this leaves plenty of extra reserve for Wells and his growing role.

P.S. before we move on: Wells was being considered for Bachelor Nation's perma-host, but the role went to Jesse instead. He took it in stride though, telling Us Weekly he was "a little bummed" but "I was never the Bachelor, so I understood the decision." Wells added, "I also know Jesse really well, I’ve worked with him before. So I get him being the host, he was the Bachelor [so it] totally makes sense. You know, I’m happy.”

How Much Does Wells Make From Instagram?

According to Influencer Marketing Hub's calculation tool, Wells stands to make anywhere between $2,500 to $4,000 per post.

Also, reminder that Wells' debut cooking show Best In Dough just dropped on Hulu. TBD on how much they paid, but Hulu definitely isn't short on $$$$.

Though gonna assume cross-posts with Sarah Hyland, like the one below, do even better:

So What Is Wells Adams' Total Net Worth?

Tragically, reliable sources like Celebrity Net Worth and Forbes haven't done a deep dive into Wells' finances (rude), but between his Bachelor Nation income, his previous gig as a radio DJ, and his lucrative Instagram sponcon, The Sun reports that Wells Adams' net worth is $400,000. TBH, this seems a little low and clearly doesn't take into account that he and Sarah Hyland just dropped $3.92 million on a “modern farmhouse” in Studio City, California, which is a pretty great asset to have in your back pocket!
