Everything We Know About the ‘Stranger Things’ Spin-Off Series

It’s no secret that Stranger Things is ending after season 5, but there’s a solid chance the franchise is sticking around. In fact, the Duffer brothers (AKA Matt and Ross) are working on a Stranger Things spin-off that will take the sci-fi series to another dimension.

Keep scrolling for details about the Stranger Things spin-off.

1. Will there be a 'Stranger Things' spin-off?

That’s right. The Duffer brothers recently announced that they’re developing a Stranger Things spin-off series that will premiere after the original show’s last season.

2. What can we expect from the 'Stranger Things' spin-off?

The Duffer brothers haven’t shared very many details about the Stranger Things spin-off. However, the showrunners revealed that it will not focus on Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) or Steve (Joe Keery).

“I’ve read these rumors that there’s gonna be an Eleven spinoff, that there’s gonna be a Steve and Dustin spinoff or that it’s another number,” they said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. “That’s not interesting to me because we’ve done all that. We’ve spent I don’t know how many hours exploring all of that.”

3. Who will star in the 'Stranger Things' spin-off?

Netflix hasn’t shared any casting details for the Stranger Things spin-off. (Surprise, surprise.) But viewers shouldn’t expect to see familiar faces because the Duffer brothers want the plot to be “1000 percent different.” And they plan to make changes behind the scenes as well. They said, “Hopefully we find that right person to pass the baton to while we go on to do new stuff.”
