The karate kids that viewers have grown to love shared video footage of Silver admitting to paying off referees in last season’s All-Valley Karate Tournament. Daniel ultimately defeated Silver before the disgraced Dojo owner was arrested for severely injuring Stingray. The show’s favorite couples, Tory and Robby and Miguel and Sam, reconciled, seemingly ending the season on a happy note —until, Kreese used a stabbing incident as a ploy to escape from prison.

What has the cast said about Cobra Kai season 6?
Ralph Macchio took to Instagram to showcase a tearjerking montage featuring clips from the beginning of the Karate Kid franchise ending with snaps from Cobra Kai "Here we go, fans," he wrote on January 20. "It's time to finish the fight. The sixth and final season of COBRA KAI is coming soon to Netflix."
Will Cobra Kai return for season 6?
It’s official — Cobra Kai has been renewed for a sixth season! However, this will mark the final season (😢) for the Netflix series, which the streamer announced on Instagram on January 20. “Let me ask you: Do you have one more fight left in you?,” the post’s caption read, alongside a video montage of clips from the Karate Kid movie franchise and Cobra Kai.
In a separate post, showrunners Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg wrote that this final installment will be “the biggest season of Cobra Kai yet,” and that while the announcement is “bittersweet” for the franchise, “the Miyagiverse has never been stronger.”
When does Cobra Kai season 6 premiere?
Netflix hasn’t announced a premiere date for season 6 just yet. Series co-creator Jon Hurwitz told GamesRadar in September 2022 that the series has not begun filming, so it might be a while until the final chapter airs. “We have filmed nothing that’s in season six,” he shared with the outlet. “There may have been some things filmed in season five that got cut out of the season. Some of those character or story moments may appear in a future season... But there were no actual scenes filmed for season six.”
The show’s creators revealed that they have been brainstorming ideas and are ready to take things to the “next level” with season 6.
Each season has been released about a year apart (season 5 debuted in September 2022, while season 4 premiered in December 2021), so it’s likely we won’t see season 6 until late 2023 or early 2024.
