Amazon Prime's Early Access Sale is now on day two, and what an event it's been so far. In shopping land, Amazon Prime Day is the ultimate holiday. The annual event is known for blockbuster deals on electronics, appliances, furniture, fashion, beauty, household items, and more—think Black Friday and Cyber Monday if they joined forces. When is Prime Day, exactly?
The normally once-a-year event (which debuted in 2015) runs for a surprise second time from October 11, through October 12, 2022—so you have to act fast.
What are the best deals?
Expect discounts across most of the major categories, from coveted tech (hello, Apple AirPods, smart TVs, and great deals on Fitbit trackers) and household appliances (vacuums and blenders) to mattresses and furniture, as well as clothing, beauty, luggage, toys, and pretty much everything you can think of. Big name brands, third-party sellers, and small businesses will all be included. Amazon brand items are marked down as well, making it an optimal time to snag the latest Kindle, Echo, or FireTV (hint: select Amazon devices will be up to 55 percent off). Prime Day is exclusively for Amazon Prime members. So if you aren't a current member, now is the time to sign up. Membership starts at $14.99 for a monthly and $139 for an annual plan—you can even opt for a 30-day free trial if you're a new subscriber.
