Congratulations to Michelle Yeoh and long-term partner Jean Todt who have tied the knot in Switzerland.

The happy news was shared on Instagram by racing driver Felipe Massa who posted a series of photos from the ceremony with the caption: "Happy marriage #JeanTodt & #michelleyeoh love you so much."

Alongside photos of the couple on their big day, Massa also shared an image of a card which explained the couple's love story.

The card read: "We met in Shanghai on 4th June 2004. On 26th July 2004, J.T proposed to marry M.Y and she said YES! Today after 6992 days on 27th July 2023 in Geneva, surrounded by loving family and friends, we are so happy to celebrate this special moment together!"

Back in March, Yeoh made history as the first Asian actress to win the Academy Award for Best Actress and she even brought her Oscar to the wedding ceremony.

Todt is the former CEO of Ferrari who met the Everything Everywhere All at Once actress while she was doing publicity for the luxury car company in Shanghai.

Describing their first meeting to You magazine earlier this year, Yeoh said: "A guy was trying to clear the stage and was being rude, so Jean went up to him and talked him down. He's about my height, and the fact that he could talk down someone bigger than him was my first impression of him – and a good one."

The Oscar winner went on to explain how the couple's busy schedules had prevented them from getting married for the past two decades: "A couple of months ago, he said: 'Do you know, this is our 5,000th day together?' And I said: 'You count the days?' And he said: 'The minutes, too.'"
