Everyone's Spiraling at This Exchange Between Kylie Jenner and Doja Cat

Kylie Jenner and Doja Cat both stepped out for the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2023 show yesterday, and had a brief exchange that the internet's decided was supremely awkward. The moment in question involved Kylie and Doja saying "good to see you" at each other, and the vibes definitely seemed icy. Like, at least according to Twitter.

And on top of that they sat in the same row during the show and fully ignored each other.

Anyway! Some notes on their outfits: Kylie is wearing a faux lion head that's giving me traumatizing flashbacks to Mufasa's death in The Lion King, while Doja Cat is wearing 30,000 (that's thirty full thousand) red Swarovski crystals which were applied by Pat McGrath. The legendary makeup artist told Vogue that “Collaborating with the incomparably talented Doja Cat and Daniel Roseberry was an absolute pleasure. Her patience and dedication as she sat with Team Pat McGrath and I for four hours and 58 minutes to achieve the creation, covered in over 30,000 hand-applied Swarovski crystals, was truly inspiring.”

Meanwhile, Kylie's outfit created some controversy but PETA entered the chat and defended the look, calling the design “fabulously innovative" and saying that “Kylie, Naomi and Irina’s looks celebrate the beauty of wild animals and may be a statement against trophy hunting, in which lions and wolves are torn apart to satisfy human egotism."
