Every Peoria-area girls track and field athlete who advanced to the 2024 IHSA state finals

The Illinois High School Association girls track and field sectionals were held Wednesday and Thursday across the state.

From each, the top two placers and athletes with qualifying performances advance to the state finals on May 16-18 at Eastern Illinois University's O'Brien Stadium in Charleston.

Below are the Peoria-area athletes who earned a spot in the finals, listed by sectional. First and second place winners along with those meeting the qualifying standards advance to the state finals. Qualifying times and distances are in parentheses.

So far, 77 entries from local schools have earned spots at state after Wednesday's sectionals. We will update later with Thursday events.

CLASS 2A
