Every Fortnite Anime Crossover, Ranked From Worst To Best

Fortnite Dragon Ball Goku

Fortnite is the home of the biggest pop culture crossover in history, with skins from dozens of TV shows, movies, comics, video games, and anime all making an appearance in the game at some point throughout the game’s six-year history. You can dress up as Darth Vader alongside somebody dressed as Spider-Man as you take on Rick Sanchez and Master Chief — something a ten-year-old from a decade ago could only have dreamed of.

Some of the best crossover skins to come to Fortnite though have been its anime skins, which have all been fantastic, with a lot of care and attention put not only into the skins themselves, but the emotes and gameplay aspects too. Not every anime crossover in Fortnite is created equal though, with some being clearly better than others. But which one is the best? That’s what we’re here to answer.

Here’s every Fortnite anime crossover, ranked from worst to best.

5. My Hero Academia

If you’re a fan of My Hero Academia, the Fortnite crossover for the anime might have been a little bit on the disappointing side. Sure, it had some fan favorite characters available as skins, but there were only four of them — Deku, Uravity, Bakugo, and All Might. They’re cool skins, of course, but it was pretty much just the skins, with very few additional cosmetics and absolutely no tie-ins with the actual game. Again, absolutely fine, but really nothing special.

4. Jujutsu Kaisen

Much like the My Hero Academia crossover, the Jujutsu Kaisen crossover in Fortnite was a pretty big let-down. Again we only got four characters – Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo – but they at least looked very nice in-game. Fortnite definitely knocked it out of the park with the aesthetics of the skins, and there were a few nice cosmetic additions to go along with it.

3. Attack on Titan

Epic Games

The Attack on Titan crossover only added three character skins – Eren, Levi, and Mikasa – but it wasn’t just the skins, there were actual gameplay elements to the crossover too. You could find thunder spears and ODM gear in-game to use and abuse, explore the Jaeger family basement, and uncover secrets around the map. It was a great little crossover event, and the ODM gear really changed the game for the better with its hyper mobility.

2. Naruto

Naruto’s actually had two crossovers so far, with each one adding four characters. The first wave brought us Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi, while the second wave had Gaara, Hinata, Itachi, and Orochimaru. Each character skin had an alternate look, which is a nice little touch, the emotes were fantastic, and there was even a creative mode adventure map that was absolutely incredible to explore.

1. Dragon Ball Super

Epic Games

So far seven skins have been added for Dragon Ball Super in Fortnite, and they’re all fantastic. Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Goku Black, Beerus, and Bulma are all available in the game, each with their own alternate outfits (usually a power-up form), as well as a bunch of really enjoyable emotes and additional cosmetics. What made the Dragon Ball Super crossover so great though were the gameplay additions — blasting an enemy with a one-hit-KO Kamehameha was absolutely spectacular, and it’s honestly a little bit of a bummer that it didn’t stick around permanently.
