Earlier this week, we asked you to pick your England team as they start their defence of their European Championship title with a qualifying tie against Sweden on Friday.

Boss Sarina Wiegman has named plenty of familiar faces in her 23-player squad, plus some exciting new additions. But, who did you pick?

Well, you've opted to stick with the tried and trusted.

More than 80% of you picked a 4-3-3 formation, so we've built the team based on that.

Manchester United's Mary Earps was a resounding pick in goal, being included in 83% of teams, despite the impressive form of Hannah Hampton at Chelsea.

There were three standout picks in defence, with Barcelona's Lucy Bronze (91%) the most popular pick in the team, while Arsenal's Leah Williamson (76%) returns and Manchester City's Alex Greenwood (82%) gets the nod. The final pick was much tighter with Jess Carter (40%) edging out Chelsea team-mate Niamh Charles (35%) despite not being the most popular pick in any position.

In midfield, Barcelona's Keira Walsh (73%) gets the vote alongside Bayern Munich's Georgia Stanway (81%) again, while they are joined by Chelsea's Lauren James (71%), second in the Women's Super League scoring chart, who is asked to play a slightly deeper role than she is used to at club level.

James sees off competition from Manchester United's Ella Toone (50%) and in-form Manchester City midfielder Jess Park and Tottenham loanee Grace Clinton, who scored on her debut in the last camp.

Up front, Arsenal's Beth Mead (62%) and Manchester City's Lauren Hemp (81%) occupy the wings and Gunners striker Alessia Russo (75%) gets the nod over Aston Villa's Rachel Daly (41%) in the central striker position.

What team will Wiegman put out at Wembley, though? You can still pick your side below, but it won't alter the final XI.
