Sunday nights haven't been the same since Euphoria season 2 ended — we’re still not over the finale, which truly had us on the edge of our seats. If you've been keeping up with all of the season 3 news and are itching for more content from your favorite Euphoria actors, you'll be happy to know that the cutest reunion just happened between Sydney Sweeney and Maude Apatow.

The two actresses who play on-screen sisters (Cassie Howard, of "I have never been happier!" notoriety, and Lexi Howard, the younger and slightly more stable Howard sister) reunited on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival in matching Armani gowns. The pair went for similar silhouettes in a navy and black color scheme, posing for the cameras with their arms around each other.

Maude opted for an Old Hollywood look in a black gown with a subtle trumpet-style flared skirt. The strapless neckline showed off a stunning ruby red necklace that matched her classic red lip, and she styled her short hair in S-waves to complete her vintage-inspired glam. The classic style that Maude channeled is reminiscent of her 2022 Met Gala look, which was an off-the-shoulder gown with tight waves and a dark red lip.

Sydney wore a black Armani strapless dress with a column silhouette that featured a silky, navy blue panel across the chest and a matching navy statement bow tied around her neck. She wore her hair slicked back into a half-up, half-down style secured with another bow, and elevated the look with a stack of neutral bracelets and sparkling earrings. It's a far cry from the Oklahoma!-ready gingham dresses and swimsuits that she wears as Cassie Howard, but if Sydney's internet-breaking 2022 MTV Awards look taught us anything, it's that the actress and her stylist Molly Dickson love to play with a range of styles on the red carpet.

Despite the strenuous relationship between their on-screen characters, Sydney and Maude formed a tight bond while filming two seasons of Euphoria together. "Everyone knows that if I'm not in my trailer, I'm in Maude's or if Maude's not in hers, she's in mine. She's the sister I always wished I had," Sydney told PEOPLE.

The other Euphoria girls (Alexa Demie, Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, and Barbie Ferreira who won't be rejoining the show) were nowhere to be found — but Zendaya recently celebrated her 26th birthday in New York City with Hunter Schafer, Tom Holland, and others, which explains why they skipped the Venice Film Festival.
