Before the Saint Peter’s Peacocks faced the Purdue Boilermakers in the Sweet 16, ESPN’s Jay Bilas ranked the remaining teams in the NCAA tournament. The only remaining Cinderella team was at the bottom of his power rankings.

Shortly after Bilas released his Sweet 16 power rankings, the official Twitter account for Saint Peter’s replied: “Coward.”

Well, it’s pretty evident that Bilas learned his lesson. On Saturday, he provided his power rankings for every team that punched its ticket to the Elite Eight.

In a hilarious turn of events, Bilas placed Saint Peter’s in every single spot on his list.

At this point, it’d be foolish to dismiss Saint Peter’s. What the Peacocks have accomplished this March is truly historical.

Following the win over Purdue on Friday night, Saint Peter’s head coach Shaheen Holloway shared a message for any doubters out there.

“What they gonna say now? Anybody got something to say?” Holloway said. “We can’t do this, we can’t do that, cinderella, underdogs. Listen, I got guys that just play basketball. I got a bunch of guys that just play basketball and have fun, that’s all we do.”

Saint Peter’s can punch its ticket to the Final Four with a win over North Carolina this Sunday.
