On Saturday afternoon, the Alabama Crimson Tide will face off against in-state rival Auburn without head coach Nick Saban on the sideline.

Saban tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week. As a result, he won’t be allowed on the sideline – or even at the stadium – for the rivalry game against the Tigers.

With Saban out for the game, the college football world spent the last few days reacting to the news. Barstool Sports comedian Joey Mulinaro made a video of what Saban would be like at home watching the game.

Not long after, sideline reporter Erin Andrews reacted to the video and sent a heartfelt message to Saban in the process.

“Dead on!! ‘Aight?’ Hope you are feeling better Coach!!” Andrews said on Twitter.

Offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian will take over as the acting head coach for the Crimson Tide this afternoon. He has plenty of experience as a head coach at the collegiate level, so Alabama shouldn’t be too worried.

However, the rivalry game against Auburn can produce some weird outcomes.

Alabama enters the game as a heavy favorite thanks to its dominant offense led by quarterback Mac Jones. Even without star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, the Crimson Tide average nearly 50 points per game.

Alabama and Auburn kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
