TVLine Items: Luke Bryan’s Country Music Series, Modern Family on TBS and More

Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning are teaming up to highlight the world of country music.

The country singer/American Idol judge and the former NFL quarterback will executive-produce It’s All Country, a six-episode Hulu docuseries that “explores the hottest people, topics and moments in country music by examining the iconic songs and artists that changed the face of country music forever.”

Bryan will also serve as host of the program, which does not yet have a premiere date.

Manning will produce via his Omaha Productions.

* Repeats of Modern Family will air weekdays on TBS, beginning Monday, Sept. 25, in the network’s12:30-3:30 pm time slot.

* The family holiday comedy Dashing Through the Snow, starring Lil Rel Howery, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Teyonah Parris and Oscar Nuñez, will premiere Friday, Nov. 17, exclusively on Disney+. The movie follows “a social worker (Bridges) for the Atlanta police department and the Christmas Eve journey with his estranged daughter (Madison Skye Validum) that helps him to remember the joy and magic of the yuletide season.”

* Blumhouse CEO and founder Jason Blum will be a guest shark during Season 15 of ABC’s Shark Tank, our sister site Deadline reports, as will Fanatics’ Michael Rubin, Sprinkles Cupcakes’ Candace Nelson and returnees Emma Grede (Skims) and Daniel Lubetzky (Kind Snacks).

* Love & Murder: Atlanta Playboy, a two-part film starring Taye Diggs and Keesha Sharp, will debut Thursday, Sept. 21 (Part One), and Thursday, Sept. 28, on BET+.

* Season 2 of Harlem Globetrotters: Play It Forward premieres on NBC on Saturday, October 7 (check local listings). That same day, Season 1 episodes will debut in Spanish on Telemundo’s “Mi Telemundo” E/I block, airing Saturday mornings at 10:30 am ET.
