TVLine Items: Fox Sets Summer Premieres, Peppa Pig Wedding Date and More

Music, food and games will fill Fox’s summer slate.

The network has announced the following premiere dates: I Can See Your Voice and Don’t Forget the Lyrics (Thursday, May 16); Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars (Wednesday, May 22); Beat Shazam and The Quiz With Balls (Tuesday, May 28), MasterChef (Wednesday, May 29) and Name That Tune (Monday, June 3).

New for Food Stars Season 2, Gordon Ramsay and reality-TV vet Lisa Vanderpump will face off as they each select food and beverage industry entrepreneurs to join their teams and then put them through a gauntlet of challenges designed to showcase their business skills, test their drive and prove they have what it takes to become the next great culinary entrepreneur.

Ready for some more recent newsy nuggets? Well…

* The three-part Peppa Pig Wedding Special, featuring guest voices Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry, will air March 25-28 at 9 am on Nickelodeon as part of the network’s “Peppa Pig Wedding Week,” marking the character’s 20th anniversary.

* The 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards (airing Monday, April 1 on Fox) will feature performances by Justin Timberlake, Green Day, TLC, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson and Tate McRae, as well as a special musical tribute to Icon Award Recipient Cher.

* Patton Oswalt (A.P. Bio) will host the Prime Video game show The 1% Club, which will also air on Fox after its streaming debut. A remake of the British format, the series tests the nation’s intelligence, based on a scientific survey.
