Travis Kelce Gives Jason Kelce a Unique Anniversary Gift Idea for Wife Kylie

Jason Kelce is a man on a mission, racing against the clock to deliver a one-of-a-kind anniversary gift for his wife, Kylie Kelce.

The Philadelphia Eagles legend got a good tip from his brother and New Heights podcast co-host, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, while pre-taping Wednesday's episode of their show. As the two discuss their gift-giving prowess (or Jason's apparent lack thereof), Jason admits that he hasn't yet come up with a present for Kylie after celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary last month.

"I owe Kylie an anniversary gift, I'm not gonna lie. I'm almost a month post-due on that," Jason tells Travis during Wednesday's New Heights presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment. "We were doing the Cincinnati live show and it distracted me. I gotta come big with something."

Travis says, "I got faith in you." Then, he's shocked to learn about the long held tradition of giving gifts according to a specific theme for each year of marriage.

For a sixth anniversary, the traditional gift is one made of iron.

Excitement rising in his voice, Travis declares, "If you've gotta get her something iron, get her a sword, man! Make her a sword, Jason!"

Jason initially balks, saying, "I don't think she'd be into it."

Travis fires back, "It's the thought, isn't it? That's what they all say. Something is better than nothing."

Jason ponders this, replying, "That's a good point. A sword is definitely better than what I've currently gotten her."

Sword making has been a recurring topic of conversation on New Heights in recent months, with the brothers discussing an ongoing intention to learn the craft together across several episodes. As of yet, they do not appear to have made good on their plan.

Jason and Travis break into a fit of giggles as they speculate how Kylie might react to the gift.

"Am I supposed to stab you with this, Jason?" Travis imagines her asking.

"If she ever wants to break the covenant we've made with the lord, she can use her sword," Jason replies.

"That's beautiful, that's poetry," Travis laughs.

"It's very symbolic," Jason adds as the wheels begin turning more quickly in his head.

"Now I gotta get it to Kylie before this episode airs on Wednesday," he says. "I gotta move fast on this sword."

At the end of the episode, Jason circles back to the topic by sharing a text message he had fired off to his assistant.

"I just asked my assistant, 'Can we find a sword to give Kylie for our anniversary from a blacksmith that we can etch our wedding anniversary on and get it here by Wednesday?'" he says, declaring that his assistant "makes s**t happen."

"She loves challenges like this," he says of his employee. "She lives for me to ask for stuff like this and I never do."

The episode concludes with Jason's assistant replying, "Let me work on that."

No word yet on how it all panned out, as neither Jason nor Kylie have addressed it on their social media accounts at the time of the podcast episode release.

The couple met on Tinder in 2014 and went on to tie the knot four years later. They now share daughters Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1.

In his deeply heartfelt retirement speech earlier this year, Jason tearfully expressed his love for Kylie.

"I think it's no coincidence I have enjoyed my best years of my career with Kylie by my side. Every accolade I have ever received has come with her in my life," he shared. "She has brought the best out of me through love, devotion, support, honesty, intelligence, and of course, a swift kick in the a** from time to time."

Since announcing the end of his NFL career, speculation has swirled about where Jason's career will take him next.

On Wednesday's New Heights, he addresses recent reports that he intends to join ESPN as a broadcaster.

"Nothing's been officially inked yet or announced yet, but obviously there's been a lot of reports out there about me going to ESPN," Jason says. "I think time will kinda take care of that, but it's a tremendous honor to even be considered to potentially work there. That network was everything that Travis and I watched growing up."

He continues, "Before phones, that was the only way to get all the coverage and we were glued to the TV each and every day. So the fact that I may, potentially, probably, will be working there is pretty darn cool."
