'Prattkeeping,' the 'Jurassic World'-inspired meme you should know about
"Jurassic World" broke worldwide records when it was released in theaters last weekend, and it's continuing to conquer the world in other, albeit more unexpected, ways.
If you haven't heard of "Prattkeeping" yet, let us introduce you to this new meme sweeping social media. A riff on the name of the film's star, Chris Pratt, and the word "zookeeping," "Prattkeeping" started with the Tumblr post by user feminerds below:
http://feminerds.tumblr.com/post/121709534819/my-bestie-is-a-zoo-keeper-and-she-told-me-that
In the post, which now has over 90,000 notes (Tumblr-speak for likes and reblogs), feminerds explained that her "bestie is a zoo keeper, and she told me that because of Jurassic World it has become a craze in the keeper community (!) to re-enact Chris Pratt."
Once the post gained traction, people across the web have staged their own reenactments of the soon-to-be classic still from "World."
