Meghan Markle's sister suggests damning New Year's resolutions for the new duchess

Samantha Markle has some predictably snarky New Year's resolutions for her sister, Meghan Markle.

Speaking to the Daily Star Online, the Duchess of Sussex's older half-sister suggested some things that she could work on as the new year kicks off, and the suggestions served as a continuation of Samantha's media assault of the new royal, focusing mainly on her perceived lack of appreciation for her estranged father, Thomas Markle.

"Your New Year's resolution should be to be honest and pay tribute to those who have helped you the most such as your dad," she said. "Thank him for your college education, your career, building every stage you set foot on, but really appreciate the people that care about you."

The so-called advice comes amid reports that Samantha Markle is on Scotland Yard's "risk" list. She went on to give her estranged half-sister some parenting tips, as well.

"So many people around the world don't have anyone who cares about them and hopefully you will count your blessings and reflect moving forward in the new year and pay that gratitude forward to your children so that they also thank you," she went on. "It all comes full circle. It started with dad, and you can carry on the legacy."

The most biting piece of criticism that Samantha had for Meghan this go round came at the end of her interview, though.

"And, of course, I would add to eat more chocolate to sweeten your disposition for the new year," she quipped.
