LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy Trailer Unleashes Darth Jar Jar on a ‘Mixed-Up’ Galaxy — Watch

Worlds are colliding (and rebuilding!) in the new trailer for LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy released Monday.

In the upcoming animated special (which will consist of four parts and release Friday, September 13 on Disney+), “the entire Star Wars Galaxy gets completely mixed up when an ordinary nerf-herder, Sig Greebling (voiced by Stranger Things’ Gaten Matarazzo), unearths a powerful artifact from a hidden Jedi temple,” reads the official description. “He finds himself thrust into adventure in a new, wondrously wild and twisted version of the galaxy where good guys are bad, bad guys are good and the fate of all depends on Sig becoming the hero who can put all the pieces back together.”

In the clip above, we see the building blocks of the galaxy getting destroyed and mixed up, as worlds and people begin changing in ways fans can’t even fathom. If X-Wing TIE fighters and Ewok bounty hunters weren’t enough, brace yourselves for… Darth Jar Jar?!

“The opportunity to work with LEGO and Lucasfilm to rebuild the galaxy has been a dream come true,” showrunners and executive producers Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit said in a statement. “We’ve been collecting LEGO Star Wars sets for 25 years, and we have approached this project with a fan’s enthusiasm, crafting this story quite literally brick by brick. For new fans, this will be an exciting place to enter the world of LEGO Star Wars, and for lifelong fans, you’re going to see some things that you never thought possible.”

In addition to Matarazzo, the voice cast includes Tony Revolori (Servant), Bobby Moynihan (SNL), Marsai Martin (black-ish), Michael Cusack (Koala Man) and Ahmed Best (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) reprising his role of Jar Jar Binks. Mark Hamill returns to the fold as well as the voice of Luke Skywalker.
