When’s the best time to buy an Apple iPad? Right now! The tech giant just announced the M1 iPad Pro models during its spring Apple Event 2021, which means previous versions of the iPad are priced to move to make way for the new stuff.

So take advantage! We rounded up the best deals on iPads and iPad accessories starting at just $94. Apple will still support these devices with new software updates this year, next year and the year after that. So no worries, you’re good!

And if you have Amazon Prime, you’ll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $25 or more.)

Apple iPad (10.2-inch)

On sale for $395 (was $430), the latest entry-level iPad model (128GB/Wi-Fi model) has the same impressive 10.2-inch display, quick Touch ID fingerprint sensor and 3GB of memory as the last version, but it features a speedier processor. You’ll notice — and appreciate — the speed with any videos, web sites or games. (For the tech savvy, the speed comes from Apple’s A12 Bionic chip). To say this thing is popular is an understatement: It has a ridiculous 33,000 five-star reviews!

"I love it! It’s fast and easy to use plus it’s super affordable compared to the other models," wrote a satisfied Amazon shopper. "The display is beautiful and picture quality is great...It’s like I have a mini laptop everywhere I go. Perfect for students, the screen quality is amazing and the battery lasts all day long."

The Apple iPad Air (Wi-Fi only), on sale for $559 — a cool $40 off — is the 'just right' model in the iPad family. It's speedier and more powerful than the entry-level model, thanks to its A14 Bionic chip (compared to the standard's A12 chip), and it's more compact and lightweight than the iPad Pro — coming in at just a pound, versus the Pro's heftier 1.41 pounds. It might not seem like a lot, but when you're holding it for a long period of time, you'll feel the difference.

"...It's a bit faster, a bit thinner, a bit lighter, and a bit shinier than all the tablets I've used before," shared a satisfied Amazon shopper. "But, taken altogether — and taken along with the second-generation Apple Pencil — it feels like an entirely new experience. I haven't been this struck by a new device in a while...this is a great little device, it fits itself into my workflow immediately. I think the highest praise I can give it is that it's amazing how quickly it effectively disappeared: Within a couple days of using it, I stopped noticing it, because everything about writing and taking notes with the iPad and the Pencil felt second nature; it felt like it had always been there."

Apple iPad Pro (11-inch)

On sale for $800 (was $899) — its lowest price to date — the Apple iPad Pro (Wi-Fi only) comes with a larger 11-inch Retina Display (the standard version and the iPad Air have a 10-inch screen) and 256GB of on-board storage instead of 64GB, so it’s more powerful and speedier too. In just about every way, it’s bigger, faster, sharper and sleeker.

"This device is totally out of this world," wrote a delighted five-star reviewer. "Even with normal use (browsing and switching between apps) it’s blazing fast...You're getting the best tablet if you prefer speed, multitasking and gaming."

Want something with more screen real estate? Apple has another iPad Pro model (Wi-Fi only) on sale for $999, or $100 off, that comes with a larger 12.9-inch display (compared to 11). Now you'll have a ton of space to get the job done. And shoppers say it's even more powerful than the Apple MacBook Pro.

"Amazing! The perfect device for work and play," shared a savvy Amazon shopper. "The sheer power in this handheld device (albeit a large one) is astounding. More powerful than my once state-of-the-art MacBook Pro, with an insane portability factor. I actually returned my 11-inch Pro (which was still great) because the extra 1.9-inch real estate is truly a game changer!"

Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad Air

On sale for $199 (was $299) — its all-time lowest price ever — the Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad Air (4th Generation) and iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd Generation) is a handy iPad accessory that essentially turns the pro-level tablet into a zippy, powerful laptop with touchscreen. It even doubles as a protective carrying case.

"This is by far the best accessory Apple has created," raved a delighted shopper. "Trackpad and illuminated keyboard is an exact replica of a MacBook, it has a tilting screen option, and not to mention it’s a case too! Changing the game to portability. This is worth every penny!"

Apple Pencil (first generation)

The first generation of the Apple Pencil — Amazon's No. 1 bestselling digital pen — is on sale for just $94. Designed for the first generation iPad Pro, it's also compatible with sixth- and seventh-generation iPads. So if you want to sketch or take handwritten notes with an entry-level iPad, the Apple Pencil can make it happen.

"It's everything I dreamed of — this is the first stylus that I have used that feels like a pencil and works the same way," shared a happy shopper. "It's really sensitive and the palm rejection of the iPad Pro is so fantastic that I can use it natively in any app without any problems. I have now been using the pencil for about three weeks and it feels really natural in my hand unlike a stylus."
