Pre-registration to play the streamer’s exclusive version of the game, which launches on iOS devices March 19, opens Tuesday at 9 a.m. PT.

Netflix says “Hades” will have “uncompromised gameplay for mobile,” with features including 60 FPS performance, redesigned menus and interfaces, fully customizable on screen controls, cloud saves, achievements and offline play.

“Hades” was released by Supergiant Games in 2020. It first rolled out for macOS, PC and Nintendo Switch, later launching across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. It has sold more than one million copies. The game garnered multiple accolades and positive reviews across the industry.

Netflix adds “Hades” to its lineup of more than 80 mobile games accessible to subscribers, including exclusive rights to “Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition,” which the streamer says helped to triple its games engagement upon launch in 2023. Other notable mobile titles at Netflix include Ubisoft’s “Rainbow Six SMOL,” and the upcoming “Katana Zero,” “Braid Anniversary Edition,” “Paper Trail” and “Monument Valley.”

As the streamer continues its plans to expand into gaming, a journey Netflix first set out on in 2021, it has more than 90 games in various stages of development including “Squid Game,” “Virgin River” and “Rebel Moon” games based on Netflix-owned IP.
