Chris Evans Holds Hands With Wife Alba Baptista in Glam Pre-Oscars Outing
Chris Evans stepped out for a rare Hollywood date night with wife Alba Baptista, as the couple was spotted hand-in-hand leaving a pre-Oscars party on Friday.
Evans and Baptista were photographed outside the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, California, where CAA -- the agency that reps the Avengers actor -- held its annual soirée. Other guests at the event reportedly included Academy Award hopefuls including Evans' Pain Hustlers co-star, Emily Blunt (who is nominated for her role in Oppenheimer), as well as Cillian Murphy, Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Sterling K. Brown, Carey Mulligan and many others.
The 42-year-old Captain America star rocked his glasses for the occasion, pairing a crisp white shirt with khakis and brown shoes. His 26-year-old wife complimented the monochromatic look with a cream off-the-shoulder dress and nude heels, wearing her hair down in loose waves.
The romance between Evans and Baptista was confirmed to ET in November 2022, with a source noting that the pair had already been together for one year. Then, in September 2023, the duo tied the knot in a private ceremony on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Evans later revealed that he and Baptista had held another wedding ceremony in the bride's native Portugal.
"It's the best time of year right now," he told the crowd at New York ComiCon in October. "Now we're just relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting."
The private couple was seen for the first time as newlyweds in December, as they attended Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost's Christmas party in New York City.
"Chris has been in love with Alba for a while. They share a special connection and are so happy to be husband and wife," a source previously told ET shortly after their nuptials. "Chris is in a really great place in his life. He feels happy with his career and was ready to settle down. He's thrilled about this new chapter and is so excited to have a family with Alba one day."
No word on whether Evans intends to attend the Oscars ceremony on Sunday, as he's not been named among the previously announced presenters.
