Bachelor Nation, get your roses ready. Episode 2 of Season 20 of The Bachelorette premieres tonight. The new season of The Bachelor spinoff follows Charity Lawson, the child and family therapist from Columbus, Ga., who won fans over in Zach Shallcross’s season before being eliminated after her hometown date. This season of The Bachelorette will see 25 men compete for Charity’s heart ... and the audience's attention. There are already some standout characters this season, including a professional wrestler, a yacht captain and even a tennis pro.

“I have an open mind, open heart,” Lawson told Entertainment Tonight about the upcoming season. “I’m ready to fall back into love, hopefully.”

Who is The Bachelorette 2023?

Charity Lawson, a fan-favorite candidate from Zach Shallcross’s season of The Bachelor, will be the Season 20 Bachelorette. Charity made it all the way to the hometown trips in Season 27 of The Bachelor before being sent home by Zach, who has since openly supported her decision to become The Bachelorette.

"She knows what she wants. She is so confident, she’s so sweet and, you know, she has a great heart,” Zach told Us Weekly back in March. “She’s someone from the very beginning that — I don’t know what exactly it was, but [she] was just trustworthy.”

How many Bachelorette couples are still together?

Unfortunately, despite the show’s sole purpose being for contestants to find love, not many Bachelor Nation couples have managed to make it long term. The ones that are still together definitely live in infamy for Bachelor Nation.

As of 2022, only nine couples who met during The Bachelor or Bachelorette process were still together.
