Remember when Madonna, Britney and Christina kissed during the 2003 MTV VMAs?
You know the phrase, "the shot heard around the world"? Yeah, well in 2003 at the MTV's Video Music Award's, that phrase turned into "the kiss heard around the world."

The 2003 VMA's somehow managed to shock us even more than years prior (remember Britney and the snake?) thanks to a stellar and iconic mashup of Madonna's "Like a Virgin" and "Hollywood." Both Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera emerged in bridal gowns singing Madonna's classic tune to everyone's excitement.

Then, in classic Madonna fashion, she rose from a platform out of a birthday cake, dressed in a suit, because why not. As the trio were singing, we were able to sense some tension, and then...it happened. ALL 3 OF THEM KISSED.
