Yahoo and The Princeton Review team up to find and reward biggest "Community" fan
When Sony Pictures Television sold a 13-episode sixth season of former NBC comedy "Community" to Yahoo last summer, die-hard "Community" fans aka "Communies" didn't think life could get any sweeter.
As it turns out, life just might get a whole lot sweeter for said Communies this weekend. Fans now have the opportunity to win $5,000 just by binge-watching their beloved show. From August 24 to August 30, Yahoo is partnering with The Princeton Review to seek out the most knowledgable Communies out there with "Communathon," a week-long binge-watch campaign.
Those who participate in "Communathon" may test their knowledge with a final exam on Sunday, August 30 at 2 PM ET (1 PM CT/11 AM PT). The questions will all refer to season six of "Community." Therefore, all fans have to do to win awesome prizes including the grand prize of $5,000 is binge-watch their favorite show and then answer questions about it.
Seeing as how most fans were likely planning to binge-watch all 13 episodes this week anyway (don't even try to deny it), this sounds like pretty easy money, amiright?
Come Sunday, proud binge-watchers may head over to one of the eight selected Princeton Review locations to bubble in some answers and hang with fellow Communies. We hear there'll even be free refreshments. Who doesn't love free food? So worth it.
For those who can't make it to the test centers, don't fret. You still have a chance to win the cash prize by taking the exam via the "Communathon" website. This could be your big chance to help pay for school, pay off loans, or pay for a romantic getaway with bae. Happy binging!
