English Bulldog Does the Funniest ‘Dance’ After Mom Puts up Barrier in the Hallway

If you are a dog owner, you may have certain areas of the house that you want to keep your dog in (or out!) of. We used to use baby gates which also helped keep our twins wrangled. Tyson is an English Bulldog and his mom doesn't need to use gates to keep him at bay...she just needs to use tape!

Tyson's mom shared a video at the end of March that had people cracking up. She put a yellow piece of tape on the floor and it seems that Tyson is afraid of it...he won't get anywhere near it! Watch how he reacts to the tape - and make sure your sound is on because he is telling mom just how much he doesn't like it!

I couldn't stop laughing at this! Tyson's little butt wiggle dance totally made my day! @Andrea-AP loved it too, "Zoomies in place!" I wonder if he ever crossed the tape. @Robert Hardinger588 pointed out, "A gate doesn't stand a chance. But a strip of tape does the trick. LOL!" and @Natalia Vizcaya added, "Bulldogs accepts no changes!!" @Heidi cracked me up with her comment, "He's like you wait till I get over there!!!"

Is an English Bulldog Right for Your Family?

Tyson is absolutely adorable, and I always thought I'd want an English Bulldog as a pet...that is until my brother got one. If you're looking for a very chill and lazy dog that likes to sleep a lot, this might be the dog for you. But if you're looking for a dog who's highly active and likes to play and go on walks and accompany you everywhere, this breed probably isn't the right choice. They are the ultimate couch potato dogs!

English Bulldogs are an expensive breed to own because of their health problems. Their skin and wrinkles make grooming a constant, and often lead to food allergies, which means special food and treats. They also snore (and pass gas) often and loudly!

There are pros and cons that come with any dog breed that you look at. While bulldogs definitely have some cons, they're a breed that has a goofy little personality and are fun to play with. They love their humans fiercely and can make great watch dogs - not guard dogs because they aren't the fastest movers, but they'll tell you when people are coming. They're great with children and other animals, which is always a plus. They don't shed much and aren't known to be barkers. Since they aren't highly active, they don't require a whole lot of room to run around, and they make great apartment or small space dogs.

Not everybody thinks so, but I think they have the cutest little faces. My brother's bulldog's tongue was always sticking out over his teeth, and I would laugh just looking at him! As with any dog, make sure to do your research before bringing one home. A dog might be cute, but that doesn't mean it would make the perfect pet for your family.
