Emmerdale's Bob lashes out again in Heath death aftermath

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Bob Hope sparks concern with another angry outburst next week.

The B&B owner is struggling badly following the tragic death of his teenage son Heath on New Year's Eve – and he's still looking for someone to blame.

Bob has directed his anger towards his former friends Jimmy and Nicola King over the past few weeks.

He's particularly unhappy with Jimmy, who briefly tried to cover up the full circumstances surrounding Heath's death. Jimmy was protecting his daughter Angelica, but soon realised the error of his ways.

Next week, Bob feels defeated following repeated encouragement from his family and friends to make amends with Jimmy.

Bob agrees to properly hear Jimmy out for the first time. Jimmy makes a touching speech about his regrets over recent events, but Bob still feels unmoved and is unable to forgive him.

Brenda Walker disapproves of her ex-husband's behaviour and she gives Bob some tough love over the way he's acting.

This only makes matters worse as Bob lashes out at his daughter Cathy once again, but he immediately regrets it.

Heath died on New Year's Eve after heading out for a joyride in Wendy Posner's car alongside his twin sister Cathy and friend Angelica King.

Cathy was initially blamed for the tragedy as she was driving when the stolen vehicle left the village. Angelica later came clean about how she had taken over behind the wheel by the time of the crash.

Angelica is now waiting to hear what her sentence will be after pleading guilty to causing death by dangerous driving. Next week's episodes see Angelica's Youth Justice representative recommend a custodial sentence.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
