Emmerdale promises huge storyline for Chas Dingle in 2024
Emmerdale has promised a huge new storyline to come for Chas Dingle next year.
Chas has been through quite an ordeal recently, having been kidnapped by sinister gangster Harry as he tried to get revenge on her half-brothers Cain and Caleb.
Last year was also quite dramatic after Chas's affair with the late Al Chapman, which had a huge effect on her relationships – including with son Aaron.

Speaking to Digital Spy and other media, Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw teased a "huge" storyline to come, which could "maybe" bring Chas and Aaron "back together".
"There’s a huge story coming up for Chas in the new year that’s going to be shocking for all her family and friends and villagers around her," she said.
"We know that her and Aaron have got quite a strained relationship at the moment and Aaron’s really pushing his mum away.
"This could be the story that maybe brings those two back together and bonds mother and son again. That’s all for us to find out in the new year," Shaw added.

Aaron recently made his return to the village when he was revealed to be the mysterious hostage held by Cain and Caleb, the two bringing him back after he went off the rails while grieving for sister Liv.
Speaking recently upon Aaron's return, Shaw said: "We also saw deep fractures with Chas when Aaron left, so what's going to happen there?
"I'm pretty sure it's going to be explosive, and given the anger and bitterness that we see coming out of Aaron, I think we'll see that it might damage some other relationships irreparably, maybe.
"The anger and darkness will definitely come out in some quite shocking ways, and it's definitely going to put some big cracks in that Dingle family."
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
