Emmerdale confirms change for Eric Pollard's villainous story
Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Eric Pollard is forced to back down from his return to villainy next week.
Eric realises that he has some making-up to do after being caught out by Kerry Wyatt.
Last month, Eric misled Kerry over the stolen necklace that she was hoping to sell for a small fortune.
Eric made out that the piece of jewellery was worthless, but then sneakily sold it himself for a large sum.

To make matters worse, Eric allowed Kerry to face a backlash over being unable to pay for her daughter Amy's wedding to Matty Barton.
Eric stepped in to save the day by paying for the ceremony himself, but he added a sting to the tail by informing Kerry that he expected her to settle the debt in the long-run.
In Thursday's episode (May 9), Kerry manages to get into Eric's home and she investigates on his laptop.
Kerry is livid when she finds out that Eric conned her by selling her necklace for a fortune.
