Emma Heming Willis Wishes Bruce Willis a Happy 69th Birthday: 'You Are the Gift That Keeps Giving'

Emma Heming Willis wrote on Instagram that her husband Bruce Willis is "so pure and ever so good" in celebration of the actor's birthday

Happy birthday, Bruce Willis!

As the Die Hard star celebrates his 69th birthday Tuesday, his wife Emma Heming Willis shared a photo of Bruce holding a baby as she honored her husband of nearly 15 years.

"Just like you, we simply adore him. What you might not know, but maybe you could imagine, that being wrapped in his arms is the safest place in this whole wide world," Emma wrote in a caption to her photo. "He’s a true gentle-man. With so much love to give and share. That’s what I get to see, his true core. I can tell you, it’s so pure and ever so good."

"Happy Birthday my love. You are the gift that keeps giving 💞," she added in her caption.

Emma and Bruce, who met in 2007 and married in Turks in Caicos on March 21, 2009, share two daughters, Evelyn, 9, and Mabel, 11. It is unclear whether the baby Bruce is seen holding in Emma's photo is one of their daughters.

In addition to Bruce's daughters with Emma, he also shares three adult daughters with his ex-wife Demi Moore: Rumer Glenn Willis, 35, Scout LaRue Willis, 32, and Tallulah Belle Willis, 30. Moore and Willis were married from 1987 to 2000, and he and Emma remain close with Moore, 61.

Moore and the rest of the actor's blended family were on hand to celebrate Willis' 68th birthday in 2023; she shared a video to Instagram at that time of the full family singing "Happy Birthday" to Bruce as he blew out the candles on a dessert.

"Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today," Moore wrote in a caption at that time. "Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes — we all feel them."

Bruce's wife Emma regularly shares photos with Bruce and memories from throughout their relationship to Instagram. In February, she looked back at Bruce's 60th birthday with sweet photos showing the couple posing together at a photo booth.

Most recently, Emma shared a photo of her and Bruce on Valentine's Day when she posted a throwback photo to Instagram of her and the actor at Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada. In a comment on her post, she wrote that the snapshot was taken in March 2010, one year after the couple's wedding.

"Love is a beautiful thing ❤️ Wishing you all a Happy Valentine’s Day 🫶🏽," she wrote at the time.
