Eminem Brings Big Bang To Fortnite Live Event

Eminem

Eminem will feature in the finale of Fortnite Season 4 when the current run of Fortnite OG begins to come to a close on December 2, during an event codenamed Big Bang.

That’s according to leaked files, which suggest Eminem will perform a concert before the map-changing live event on December 3, in the same way previously artists like Travis Scott and Marshmello have marked significant updates to the battle royale shooter.

There will be two skins for Eminem - named Marshal Mathers No More and Slim Shady, along with a boombox Back Bling. Sadly, there does not seem to be a skin featuring a sweater covered in mom's spaghetti.

Not only will Eminem feature, but Fortnite is also planning to release new modes including one featuring Lego, a new rhythm mode with bops from Linkin Park and Lady Gaga, and a racing mode.

Developer Epic Games hasn’t revealed any official details just yet, but we know the live finale for Fortnite Season 4 will take place December 3 at 1pm PT / 4pm ET, 9pm GMT. According to leaker HypeX, the Eminem gig will happen the day before.

Fortnite Season 5 will begin with a new island map, complete with new biomes and places of interest, which you can check out here.

Fortnite is enjoying a resurgence right now, with the latest update, Fortnite OG, pulling in over 44 million players. Fortnite OG is a throwback to the game as it was in 2018, and includes weapons, traps and vehicles that had previously been vaulted, as well as fan-favourite skins given a makeover.
