Emily Ratajkowski has a fresh perspective on divorce.

In the latest episode of her podcast, High Low, the model talked to actress Tommy Dorfman about their respective divorces. (Ratajkowski filed for divorce from ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard last year, while Dorfman announced her split from ex Peter Zurkuhlen last year.)

"When you were talking about your divorce stuff, I remember when you were going through that, I was like, 'Oh, I'm not alone,'" Dorfman told Ratajkowski.

"I love a divorce story," she replied.

"What did you do with your ring?"

"I still have it," Ratajkowski said. "But every time I hear a divorce story or when I see the news, I have to remind myself that I have to be like, ‘Oh, that’s sad.’ I literally say to people, ‘Good for you.’"

Dorfman agreed. "I think my ex-husband, who I'm really really good friends with still. would tell you that this is the best thing that could’ve happened to us," she said.

"I don't think divorce is a sad thing," Ratajkowski said. "I know a lot of people who are unhappily married for a very long time because they're so afraid of divorce and I don't think that's a good way to live."

The duo ended their conversation on a high note, with the model sending Dorfman off by saying, "Well, cheers to divorce."

During another recent episode of High Low, Ratajkowski, who is currently linked to comedian Eric André, opened up about the challenges of casually dating as a highly-scrutinized public figure. Namely, paparazzi have produced "pretty weird" and uncomfortable moments for her and her dates.

"I've gone on dates where there's been no pictures, and I'm like, 'All good', and then there's been times where literally the first time that I've met someone, we spent 2 hours together, and there's pictures on the Internet," she said. "My close friends will be like, 'Dude, that guy's stoked, like, he's stoked. He just got photographed on a date with you.' And then that makes me feel gross, I'm like, 'I wouldn't want to be with somebody who is excited to be photographed with me,' that's not a good sign."

She added, "It's also been tough because I've been trying to casually date and not get booed up, not get cuffed up, and it's been hard to do that and be kind of mindful of the people that I'm seeing because I don't necessarily want to know when they're going on another date ... Any time I go on another date, everybody knows, so the other guys I'm dating see it, and it has been kind of difficult, because of course they're like, 'Oh, didn't talk to her last night,' and then you know, there's pictures of me out to dinner with someone else."

She previously spoke on being single for the first time in her adult like for Harper's BAZAAR's November 2022 cover story.

"I can tell you that I have never been single before," she said. "I feel all the emotions. I feel anger, sadness. I feel excitement. I feel joy. I feel levity. Every day is different. The only good thing I know is that I'm feeling all those things, which is nice because it makes me believe that I'll be okay."
