Emily Blunt continues to take Hollywood glamour and red-carpet looks to new heights. On the heels of her captivating appearance at the 2024 Golden Globes—where she wowed in a gilded Alexander McQueen gown with a transparent white tulle skirt—Blunt made an enchanting entrance at the 77th British Academy Film Awards, looking regal once again.
The A Quiet Place actor walked the red carpet today at Royal Festival Hall in London in a transparent, ornate cutout dress that we just couldn’t take our eyes off of. The centerpiece featured a high, straight neckline, wide cape sleeves, a trailing train skirt, and four triangular cutouts along her abdomen and hips, which extended to her back, and was completely covered in elaborate bead and jewel embellishments. Blunt paired the gown with gold strappy, open-toe heels and majestic jewelry, including a luxurious diamond and multicolored crystal statement necklace and massive diamond stud earrings, both by Tiffany & Co. For beauty, the actor opted for bronzy makeup, complete with a subtle brown smoky eye and rosy-pink lips, and styled her blonde locks in a sophisticated updo with face-framing tendrils hanging out the sides.
Blunt posed for some snaps with her Oppenheimer costar Cillian Murphy, who looked so cool in a monochromatic black fit composed of a flowy T-shirt under a long blazer jacket, straight-leg trousers, and shiny dress shoes. Both actors are up for big categories, Blunt for Supporting Actress and Murphy for Leading Actor. The biographical thriller film leads in nominations overall, with 13.
Ahead of the big ceremony, Blunt spent an evening with her fellow nominees at the Pre-BAFTA Party on Saturday night.
