Elle Fanning is going strong with Rolling Stone magazine CEO Gus Wenner. The two began dating late last year, seven months after the actor ended her five-year relationship with fellow actor Max Minghella.
“But I’m a hopeless romantic. I believe in love at first sight. Call me crazy, but I believe in those things. I feel that it’s my destiny,” she told Harper’s Bazaar U.K. in April.

April 22, 2024: They have a courtside date.
The pair show off their courtside style at a game between the New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers game at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Fanning wears a white top, blue jeans, a black leather jacket, and a navy Knicks hat, while Wenner wears a long-sleeve blue-gray top, blue jeans, and a tan Knicks hat.
April 9, 2024: Gus wishes Elle a happy birthday.
On Instagram, the businessman shares a candid selfie of them at the beach, looking happy and relaxed. Fanning even wears a Rolling Stone hat in honor of Wenner. “Happy birthday to my 💙,” he writes in the caption. “My sweet baby,” she comments.
February 14, 2024: Elle gushes about her man on Valentine's Day.
The two ring in the day of love for the first time as an official couple. The star of The Great shares a photo of Wenner lounging on a boat in a gray tee, jeans, sneakers, and black shades. “My funny Valentine🏹💕🙈” she writes in the Instagram post caption.
January 10, 2024: Gus posts Elle on main.
Three days after they displayed their love at the Golden Globes, Wenner shares an Instagram carousel of dreamy photos with Fanning from the special night. “Sunday night at the golden globes 💜,” he captioned the post. Fanning, meanwhile, comments with a red heart emoji.
January 7, 2024: They hard-launch their relationship at the Golden Globes.
It’s official! Wenner accompanies his girlfriend to the 2024 Golden Globes, where she looks ethereal in a vintage ivory Pierre Balmain dress, while he looks dapper in a classic tux.

Following rumors of a romance between them, the couple is spotted fir the first time holding hands during a date night in New York City. They’s photographed eating dinner with singer Lorde, actor Annabelle Dexter-Jones, and Wenner’s brother visual artist Theo Wenner at West Village hot spot the Waverly Inn. They later go out for drinks at Corner Bistro.
