At the 2024 SAG Awards this weekend, Elizabeth Debicki took home the trophy for Best Actress in a Drama series, beating out a competitive field that included Keri Russell for The Diplomat and Sarah Snook for Succession.

Debicki, who won for playing Princess Diana in The Crown, was unprepared to win, clearly in shock as her name was announced. As she walked to the stage, she took off her shoes as Pedro Pascal helps. You can watch the moment, and her acceptance speech, here:

"I don't have any shoes on!" she began her speech. "Truly, I was not expecting this. People say that and I really am not. So I don't really know what to say, so I'm just going to wing it." She went on to thank her fellow nominees, saying, "The women in my category, I watch with total awe and I learn how to do my craft watching you. So being nominated next to you is incredible."

She then spoke about her first time she was ever cast in a play, and what acting means to her, before concluding by thanking the Crown: "To my beautiful Crown family and so many of you here tonight. It is a joy to work with you. This job is such a gift," she said. And, she ended by wishing her mom a happy birthday, saying, "It's my mum's birthday. Happy birthday, Mum, thank you so much."

For the evening, Debicki wore a custom Armani Privé gown. The icy blue dress featured a transparent back, and beading throughout.
