El Paso County home listings asked for more money in April: See current median price here
The median home in El Paso County was listed for $300,950 in April, up 0.4% from the previous month's $299,900, an analysis of data from Realtor.com shows.
Compared to April 2023, the median home list price increased 0.3% from $300,505.

El Paso County's median home was 1,894 square feet, listed at $164 per square foot. The price per square foot of homes for sale is down 0.3% from April 2023.
Listings in El Paso County moved slowly, at a median57 days listed compared to the April national median of 47 days on the market. In the previous month, homes had a median of 58 days on the market. Around 1,022 homes were newly listed on the market in April, an 18.8% increase from 860 new listings in April 2023.
The median home prices issued by Realtor.com may exclude many, or even most, of a market's homes. The price and volume represent only single-family homes, condominiums or townhomes. They include existing homes but exclude most new construction as well as pending and contingent sales.

Across the El Paso metro area, median home prices rose to $300,125, slightly higher than a month earlier. The median home was 1,894 square feet and had a list price of $164 per square foot.
In Texas, median home prices were $375,000, a slight increase from March. The median Texas home listed for sale was 2,005 square feet, and the price was $189 per square foot.
Throughout the United States, the median home price was $429,950, a slight increase from the month prior. The median American home for sale was listed at 1,840 square feet, with a price of $230 per square foot.
The median home list price used in this report represents the midway point of all the houses or units listed over the given period of time. Experts say the median offers a more accurate view of a market than the average list price, which would mean taking the sum of all listing prices and dividing by the number of homes sold. The average can be skewed by one particularly low or high price.
