EDITORIAL: Farmers market returns

May 1—This Friday, the Ironton Farmers Market makes its return for the season.

We are looking forward to the opportunity to purchase fresh produce and artisan items from the numerous vendors there.

The market has served as a great source for local products, especially later in the season, as the growing season takes off in our region

And, with that return, we can also look forward to the return of the Tuesday Night Concert Series there in coming months, giving local and regional musicians the opportunity to perform in a family-friendly space through the end of summer.

We thank Ironton aLive and all involved in the market and its surrounding events and know this season will be worth checking out.
