EC woman receives probation after false imprisonment conviction

EAU CLAIRE — A woman originally charged with kidnapping in an incident that took place after a police stop will spend three years on probation.

Stacie Revord, 32, Eau Claire, had a two-year prison sentence stayed in favor of the probation after pleading no contest to false imprisonment. A charge of second degree sexual assault was dismissed but read in.

Prosecutors said Revord and Reimando Pagan, 61, pulled over after seeing a police officer had stopped a driver for suspected drunken driving. The driver was arrested and a passenger was also too intoxicated to drive. The pair offered to drive her home.

According to the criminal complaint, the pair took the woman to Pagan’s residence. The woman, who had vomited several times, took a shower to clean up. Pagan joined the woman and began having sex with her in the shower, then continued on his bed.

Revord told investigators the woman was willing, but both she and Pagan could tell she was too intoxicated to give knowledgeable consent.

Pagan’s case remains pending, with charges of kidnapping and second degree sexual assault filed. He also faces a separate case involving charges of possession of improvised explosives, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia related to items that were found and reported to police when his residence was cleaned out after his arrest.
