Easter bunny photos, brunches, egg hunts: Your guide to events across southeast Michigan

Get ready to welcome the Easter bunny to town, collect candy-filled eggs or enjoy your favorite family meal.

As metro Detroiters prepare to celebrate Easter, a variety of businesses, churches and institutions are hosting events to mark the Christian holiday.

Here's a look at a variety of Easter events in southeast Michigan this March.

Photos with the Easter Bunny

Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills: The mall is hosting photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny throughout March, with children getting a complimentary treat and for the first 100 children, a gift. Photo sessions happen daily through March 30 at varying time intervals.

Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi: The mall is hosting photos with the Easter bunny throughout March, with children getting a complimentary treat along with their picture. The event occurs daily through March 30 at varying time intervals.

Brunches

American Polish Cultural Center in Troy: The center will hold a brunch and buffet on March 24, Palm Sunday, from noon to 4 p.m. The Polish-influenced menu will include cold starters, hot entrees, and sides and desserts. The event will also feature an egg hunt and pictures with the Easter bunny. Attendees can call ahead to make a reservation, with tickets $26.95 for adults, $14 for children ages five to 12, and children four and under free.

Black Label Tavern in Milford and Shelby Township: The restaurant will hold Easter brunches at its Milford and Shelby Township locations on March 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The all-you-can-eat brunch will feature entrees, sides, salads and desserts. Attendees can call to make reservations, with tickets $25 for adults and $15 for children.

Blake Farms in Armada: Blake Farms will host an Easter brunch on March 31 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu will include breakfast, lunch, brunch, and dessert options. Reservations are required, with prices $32.95 for adults, $13.95 for children ages 10 and under, and children ages two and under free.

Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores: The institution will host an Easter brunch on March 31 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The brunch will feature a buffet menu including entrees, sides, desserts, and fresh fruit. The Easter bunny will also appear at the event. Attendees can purchase seating by table online. A table for four $300 or $240 for members, a table for six is $450 or $360 for members, a table for eight is $600 or $480 for members, and a table for 12 is $900 or $720 for members.

Italian American Cultural Society in Clinton Township: The organization will host an Easter brunch on March 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature a breakfast menu, grand buffet, salad bar, dessert table, an Easter bunny appearance, and more. Tickets can be purchased by prepaid reservations only, with seating every half hour starting at 10:30 a.m. Prices are $39 per person, $35 for members, $19 for children ages four to 10, and children three and under free.

Egg hunts

First United Methodist Church in Brighton: The church will host an outdoor Easter egg hunt on March 16 at 10 a.m. Attendees can register online for the free event. Organizers are requesting donations of candy and plastic eggs to prepare 2,000 candy-filled eggs for the event.

Lakeside Village Apartments in Clinton Township: The community will host an Easter egg hunt on March 30 from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will feature egg hunting by age group near the complex's playground, followed by brunch and photos with the Easter bunny at the Lakeside Village clubhouse.

Lighthouse Elementary School in New Baltimore: The New Baltimore Parks and Recreation Department will host an Easter egg hunt at Lighthouse Elementary School on March 23 at 1 p.m. The event will feature staggered start times at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m., along with an appearance from the Easter bunny. Attendees must pre-register at the Anchor Bay Aquatic Center to purchase $5 wristbands.

Regina High School in Warren: Regina High School will host its annual alumnae and friends Easter egg hunt on March 23 from 10 a.m. to noon. The event will feature egg hunting, an Easter bunny appearance, an appearance from "Encanto" film character Mirabel Madrigal, games, snacks and treats and more. Attendees can pre-register online, with children's tickets $15 and adults free.

Revive Church in Rochester: Revive Church will host an Easter egg hunt on March 23 from 10 a.m. to noon. The event will also feature games, crafts, and refreshments. Attendees can pre-register online.

St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Eastpointe: The church will host its annual Easter egg hunt on March 23 from noon to 2 p.m. Organizers ask attendees to come prepared with their baskets to collect eggs.
