EastEnders first look at Patrick Trueman and Pastor Clayton's showdown

EastEnders has unveiled the first look at Patrick Trueman and Pastor Clayton's showdown.
The preview photos from Thursday's (May 9) episode show Patrick confronting the pastor in front of his parishioners after discovering that he'd abused Yolande.
A poignant two-hander episode earlier this week saw Yolande beg Patrick not to confront the pastor as she planned to complain about him to the church.
However, viewers can see that Patrick's anger boils over in the next new episode as he grabs Pastor Clayton by his lapels and appears to be on the verge of attacking him.
Yolande rushes in to try to stop Patrick before he does something both of them may regret for a long time to come.

The most recent episode on Wednesday (May 8) featured Patrick offering to go with Yolande as she filed her complaint against the pastor.
Yolande explained to Patrick that she wanted to attend the meeting on her own and eventually asked to speak with church official Levi.
She opened up to Levi about the abuse she endured from Pastor Clayton and was rightly praised for her bravery in coming forward.
Levi confirmed to Yolande that the church would begin investigating these sexual assault allegations against the pastor.
In Thursday's instalment, Patrick will be frustrated to learn that Levi has scheduled his meeting with church elders for next week as he thinks officials have been slow to react.

When Patrick runs into Levi in the café, he warns the church elder to move more quickly in investigating the pastor or he'll take action.
A short time later, Patrick confronts Pastor Clayton in front of his flock and they end up physically scuffling.
These scenes air on Thursday on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer.
