‘Dune’ Movie Cast: Meet the Stars of the 2021 Remake
With a release date of Oct. 22, 2021, 'Dune' is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Its all-star cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, David Dastmalchian, Chang Chen, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem. It’s quite impressive!
The movie is a remake of the 1984 film of the same name and is directed by Denis Villeneuve. It is based on the 1965 novel named ‘Dune’ by Frank Herbert and will focus on the first half of the book, which follows Paul Atreides, as he and his family, the noble House Atreides, are brought into a war for the dangerous desert planet Arrakis, between the native Fremen people and the enemy invaders, the House Harkonnen.
Timothée Chalamet as Paul and Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica are two of the many talented cast members of the remake of ‘Dune.’ Here, they can be seen looking out at something that’s sure to be memorable in the film.
Timothée Chalamet leads the ‘Dune’ cast as Paul Atreides. He’s the son of the Duke on the planet Caladen, and his concubine, Lady Jessica. The role was previously played by Kyle MacLachlan in David Lynch’s 1984 film.

Zendaya plays Chani in the ‘Dune’ 2021 film. She is a young Fremen woman and Paul’s main love interest. The role was originated by actress Sean Young in the 1984 David Lynch film.

Oscar Isaac stars as Duke Leto Atreides. He is Paul’s father and the ruler of Arrakis.
Jason Momoa stars as Duncan Idaho. He is the sword master of House Atreides and a mentor to Paul.

Rebecca Ferguson stars as Lady Jessica. She is Paul’s mother.

Dave Bautista stars as Glossu Rabban. He is the nephew of Baron Harkonnen.

Chang Chen as Doctor Wellington Yeuh. He is a Suk doctor in the employ of House Atreides.
Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Dr. Liet Kynes. She is the Imperial ecologist and judge of the change on Arrakis, also Chani’s mother.

Though her part is quite small in the movie, Zendaya makes the most of her screen time, suiting up for possible battle and looking fierce while doing so.
