Duchess Meghan’s Former Costar Shares a Behind-the-Scenes Photo From Her “Suits” Era

Duchess Meghan’s former costars haven’t forgotten about their time together on the set of Suits.

Patrick J. Adams, who played Michael Ross on the USA Network legal drama series, shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram late Monday night.

Adams first shared a black-and-white portrait of himself with the caption: “Let's get serious. Seriously.”

Next, he shared a photo of Meghan, who played Rachel Zane, and their costar Sarah Rafferty, who played Donna Paulsen. The picture features Meghan—not yet the Duchess of Sussex at the time—posing on the floor, reclining on her back with her bare feet up against a cabinet. She wears a white button-down tucked into a brown leather miniskirt. Rafferty is in a patterned brown blouse tucked into a black pencil skirt.

“I miss my friends,” Adams captioned the photo.

In his next post, the actor shared five black-and-white portraits of members of the main Suits ensemble, starting with a close-up of Meghan in profile, fingers held to her lips. The other pics feature Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, Max Topplin, and Gina Torres.

“Each and every one of them,” Adams wrote in the caption.

Fans immediately began speculating over what the actor’s spontaneous Suits tribute might mean.

“Don’t give us hopes. Is suits coming back? After The Office announced [a reboot], this feels like a legitimate possibility,” one fan commented.

“Manifesting a reunion, you can’t do this and not have a reunion,” another user added.

Suits debuted in 2011 and, after nine seasons, officially ended in 2019. Meghan exited the show after season seven, following the announcement of her engagement to Prince Harry.

Harry recalls her departure in his 2023 memoir, Spare.

“Meg packed up her house, gave up her role in Suits. After seven seasons. A difficult moment for her, because she loved that show, loved the character she was playing, loved her cast and crew—loved Canada,” the royal recalled. “On the other hand life there had become untenable. Especially on set. The show writers were frustrated, because they were often advised by the Palace comms team to change lines of dialogue, what her character would do, how she would act.”
