Dua Lipa Is Serving Y2K Hottie in a Neon Pink Bra and Shiny Mini Skirt

Besties — we don't know if you've heard the news, but it looks like the clock has stopped and we've been sent back to 2004. Well, at least in the Dua Lipa-verse that is. And borrowing from the iconic Gretchen Weiners of Mean Girls fame to describe Dua's latest fashion choice — a peek-a-boo, hot pink bra moment and a mini skirt — the verdict is, "That's so fetch!"
But before we dive into the designer dud deets, let's take a look back on what Dua's been Dua-ing. When the songstress isn't busy skipping the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, taking a break from her Future Nostalgia tour to wear a strappy Coconut Girl monokini, a citrus-orange bikini, and a sequin snakeskin moment, or celebrating her 27th birthday, her schedule is packed with turning out Y2K outfits.
We're obsessed that she brought the noughties to her swimwear, hit up the '90s for punk streetwear inspo, and resurrected the Y2K "whale tail", g-string underwear style just like Bella Hadid did. The flirty lace fabric of the bra is seen through the shirt, giving us serious Regina George vibes. The outfit picked out by stylist Lorenzo Possoco also features a shimmery purple mini skirt from Off-White's Fall 2022 Ready-to-Wear collection. For accessories, Dua stuck with Off-White, choosing fuzzy sherpa sandals and a fluffy paperclip detailed shoulder bag from the same collection as the skirt. These fun and cheeky pieces definitely work with the noughties theme as fur ran the game back in the '00s (faux, ofc).
We know the Mean Girls trio would be huge fans of this photo series as Dua wears pink once again. Smiling coyly in the first pic and cheesin' it up for the camera in the last snap, Dua wears a schoolgirl sweater with multiple shades of pink, yellow, sage green, and purple. Dua's argyle-esque plaid knitwear has us ready for autumn and colder weather to come. To keep the look from appearing too girly, Lipa layers on a pair of charcoal trousers with white embroidery on the booty. For a final Y2K touch, the "Sweetest Pie" songstress accessorizes with a silver barbell-style navel piercing.
