Driver hospitalised after police car collision

A driver was taken to hospital after their black Toyota collided with a police car in Hull on Sunday, says Humberside Police.

The injured driver of the Toyota was taken to hospital but the extent of their injuries is unknown.

Two police officers in the patrol car at the time sustained minor injuries.

The collision took place shortly after 11:50 BST near to the junction of Wellsted Street.

The force are appealing for anyone with information or CCTV/Dashcam footage to contact them.
