Drew and Jonathan Scott Share Major News
Drew and Jonathan Scott are planning for a busy 2024. The Property Brothers announced they will star in two new HGTV series and will return for a new season of Celebrity IOU—all of which are slated to air next year. (And on top of that, Jonathan may have a wedding to plan, as he and actress Zooey Deschanel got engaged this year.)
The big career news is that HGTV greenlit two new series with the working titles Backed By The Bros and Don't Hate Your House with the Property Brothers. In the first one, the duo will offer their expertise and resources to help budding entrepreneurs become successful with their risky investment properties. The other show will involve the brothers finding ways to fix the issues in homes of the families want to love their house but can't in its current state.
Drew and Jonathan also confirmed a new season of Celebrity IOU is on the way. During the previous season, the brothers teamed up with stars including Heidi Klum, Taraji P. Henson, and Emma Roberts to gift their loved ones a home reno. We imagine the next lineup will be just as good!
Fans were ecstatic to hear the Property Brothers' news after they shared it on Instagram. Many said they plan to tune in and are "so happy" making remarks like "HALLELUJAH." One person wrote, "Love all your shows, so I'm sure the new ones will be great!"
Another added, "LET’S START 2024 RIGHT NOW."
"Can't wait to watch, just watching re-runs at the moment," one person commented.
People also had a lot of questions about their other shows and if they plan to continue any of them including Property Brothers: Forever Home and Brother vs. Brother. Both shows aired their latest seasons in 2023. Fingers crossed more seasons of those shows will drop in the near future!
