'Like all of our dreams coming true' RI family competes on Family Feud. How to watch.

This Rhode Island family had to choose to either 'pass or play' on Family Feud. They played.

The Ryan family – Mark Ryan, his wife Heather, his daughter Victoria, his sister Mary, and his brother-in-law Scott – of Lincoln all competed in Atlanta, where the show is taped.

"It was like all of our dreams coming true all at once," Mark Ryan said, who described being accepted onto the show as an out-of-body experience.

Mary Ryan said she thinks that audiences in Providence are in for a good show, and that, in her years of watching Family Feud, she hasn't really seen someone from her state compete.

"They'll be happy to see someone from Rhode Island," she said.

How to watch the Ryans on Family Feud

She also said the host, Steve Harvey, was a joy to be around while on set, describing how he would crack jokes and do bits during the commercial breaks.

"He was even funnier in person than on TV," Victoria Ryan said. "One of the funniest people I've ever met."
