Draper James Just Debuted a Sweet, Summery Take on Jackie Kennedy's Favorite Sandals

Jackie Kennedy was a then-now-and-forever fashion icon, but there's no denying that there was something particularly special about the former First Lady's flair for warm weather style. She had a way of imbuing effortless summery looks with a signature dose of sophistication. So it's hardly a wonder that the brands she loved have stood that test of time—and that some of her go-to styles remain must haves. Case in point: the Jack Rogers staple Jacks Flat Sandals. Not only did Jackie favor the style, she's also credited with commissioning the very first pair, inspired by the whipstitched leather sandals she found while on vacation in Capri in the '60s.

Though we're longtime devotees to the Jacks style at T&C, we also love to see a classic piece given a modern twist, so when Reese Witherspoon's Draper James unveiled a brand new collection of updated Jacks, we were, naturally, all ears.

A follow-up to the brands's first collaboration back in 2018, today Draper James and Jack Rogers debuted three new limited-edition iterations of the Jacks sandals, featuring classic silhouettes with some signature Draper James touches. In addition to the Draper James blue that appears in each of the three styles, one of the styles is embellished the the brand's sweet southern ambiance via their magnolia emblem. The other two looks are riffs on the original Jacks profile—one in navy and white that was practically born for your next seaside romp, and another in chic metallic gold to add a dose of glam to your laid-back summery looks.
